487th Twelve bombers of this Squadron took off at 07:50 hours with a 48x1000 bomb load to bomb a railroad bridge at Cittadella in Northern Italy. Patterns of both flights scored direct hits in the center and east approach. Heavy, intense and accurate anti-aircraft fire harassed the formation, but holed only one plane in the 487th flight

Heavy, intense and accurate flak at known locations and at G-6935 two flak boats.
